Peaks and valleys

I've been having mostly peaks lately. Yesterday, however, was a valley. A very low valley. Yesterday was a stay at home and feel sorry for myself day. By mid- to late-afternoon, however, I was pretty much over it. I'm back to plugging away. I guess the key to having more peaks is to be able to stick with it through the valleys.

I think valleys are inevitable and probably, largely, unavoiadable. As you say, the key is keeping them to a minimum. Expect that you'll have one, from time to time, and occasionally a firestorm valley sets in. That way you might feel a little less broad sided when you have one.

Hang in there. I know this is really difficult stuff. Hugs.

i think even in a marriage where there has been no dramatic incident, that the couple goes through peaks and valleys .... no marriage is perfect .... i think knowing that you'll have peaks and valleys is going to help you a ton ....
